 Season 2 | Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (2009)

Da wurde im Internet über die besagte 2. Staffel, vorallem wegen den acht Endless Eight Episoden geschimpft und gewütet, dass EE ein Troll von KyoAni sein soll. Was ich aber dementieren kann da ich die Season 2 zusammen mit Endless Eight kenne und finde KyoAni und Kadokawa Animation Studio hatten uns Haruhiisten damit ein Meisterwerk | Meisterwerk geliefert. Also mir gefiel die Season 2 'Haruhi Suzumiya no Juuutsu (2009) sehr gut und finde es hätten sogar noch mehr Episoden davon zu dem grossen Erfolg zur Season 1 geben können. Ohne den Episoden von Melancholie der Haruhi Suzumiya wäre der Haruhi Film 'Shnyshitso no Suzumiya Haruhi, the Movie' wohl nichts ausser irgendein unbekanntes Anime-Movie und es gäbe keine Fanmeile dazu. Dass Haruhi-Fans nach Endless Eight grundlos ausrasteten zeigt mir dass sie den komplexen Plot aus EE wohl nicht verstanden hatten und wohl noch etwas Reife benötigen um es zu verstehen. 'As of writing this review, we are currently stuck in a seemingly infinite loop of "Endless Eight". The first episode of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 2 is based on the Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody story, which was good, however, the next episode is based on the Endless Eight story, a story revolving around the cast trapped in a time loop during August.

However, instead of resolving the incident in one or two episodes, Kyoto Animation has decided to put the viewer through the same time loop, and as of writing, 4 of the 5 released episodes have been almost exactly the same thing. There have been only minor differences between each episode, with AT LEAST 20 minutes of the episode being dedicated to material we've already seen, and they've managed to make 4 episodes of this, with an expected 5th episode (and who knows how many more) just like it.

Not only is this incredibly boring to watch and a complete waste of time, but it shows Kyoto Animation's poor professionalism and their childish, trolling nature which they've been tormenting the fans with since releasing teasers for season 2 over 2 years ago...' more.
